Felipe Hegg

I started my journey in the arts at an early age and have been exploring various facets of this fascinating market for over 16 years. As an independent curator, artist agent, and partner-director of Galeria Lume for nearly a decade, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges of the art world.

I began collecting and working with art at the age of 25. Along my journey, I encountered challenges that I realized were common among art collectors and enthusiasts: a lack of transparency in pricing, difficulty accessing impartial information, and concerns about the authenticity of works—persistent issues that generate uncertainty. How could I, someone immersed in the art world, still find these problems difficult to resolve?

In 2019, I felt ready to take on a new challenge. Determined to bridge this gap, I sold my previous company, moved to the United States, and established my own Art Advisory office. These four years abroad were pivotal in deepening my studies, expanding my network, and gaining an international perspective on the art market.

At Felipe Hegg Art Advisory, we focus on delivering tailor-made services that ensure each collection is unique. We are committed to providing an educational, secure, and rewarding journey for our clients throughout the process.

Catering to the diverse needs of the market, Felipe Hegg Art Advisory offers a range of services designed for companies, emerging collectors, and seasoned ones alike—ensuring that every client receives the support and guidance they need to achieve their goals in the art world

Customer reviews

Felipe, as an art advisor, creates an easy bridge to cross, uniting the world of the arts and people like me, who have the desire, but do not know where to start exploring. With an insightful look, a lot of empathy and no affectations, he presents you with a new, delicious and, therefore, inescapable world once you start "

— Rafael N.

”In addition to having great taste and a vast knowledge in art, he manages to bring exactly what you are looking for, which fits perfectly in the place where you intend to place the art. He speaks the client's language. ”

— Ricardo L.

Felipe helps me build my collection, understand more about art and have fun during the whole process. He always respected and understood my aesthetics, worked within the set budget for each acquisition and found exactly what I wanted. With him, I have the opportunity to meet new artists, learn more about the art market, travel and meet people from the community.
